What your ride earns

₱550 × 15 days₱8,250
Roam service fee (15%)− ₱1,237

Founding owners get that fee back on their first 3 rentals, so the top line is what you keep. An illustration, not a promise: your price and booked days are up to you and the season.

Founding owners

Your first 3 rentals, you keep 100%.

The first 50 owners on Roam get our commission back. We charge our 15% as normal, then send all of it to you by GCash once you've done all 3. Worked out on the full list price, so a renter's discount code never shrinks it. After that, 85% forever, like everyone.

How it works for owners

1

List it free

Add photos, your rental contract and your details in a few taps. Listing costs nothing, ever.

2

We verify + protect

Papers checked, vehicle inspected, and every renter signs your rental contract before they can book.

3

Verified renters book

Tourists sign your contract, book and pay Roam's service fee online before they even land.

4

Cash in hand

The renter pays your 85% in cash at handover. Your money never waits in an app.

Your money, your hands

Roam never holds your earnings.

The renter pays our service fee online when they book. That's how Roam earns. Your 85% goes straight from their hand to yours, in cash, when you hand over the keys. No app wallet, no waiting for a payout, no bank account needed.

Contract & damage

Your contract, signed on every trip.

No signature, no keys: every renter signs your rental contract before their booking is confirmed. You can also require a refundable cash deposit in that contract, so scratches and small repairs come out of it first. Your signed contract is what backs you up for the rest, and we'll help you sort it.

What your vehicle needs

  • Valid OR/CR (official receipt + certificate of registration)
  • Roadworthy: brakes, lights, horn, decent tires
  • A few clear photos in daylight
  • Your rental contract. Every renter signs it before booking
  • A government ID: National ID, driver's license, passport, UMID or PRC (kept private)
  • You're reachable on WhatsApp or Messenger

Got all that? You're three minutes away.

Owner questions, answered

How and when do I get my money?

At handover, in cash, directly from the renter. Roam's 15% service fee is paid online when they book. The rest is yours on the spot: no payouts to wait for, no wallet to cash out.

What do the first 50 owners actually get?

Your commission back on your first 3 rentals. We charge our 15% as normal, then send every peso of it to you by GCash, so on those 3 you keep 100% of the rental. It's counted in rentals, not months, so a quiet rainy season can't burn it. After that you're on 85%, the same as everyone, forever.

When does the refund arrive?

As one GCash transfer, once you've used all 3. It builds up in your dashboard as you go, so you can watch it fill. One transfer rather than 3 small ones, because 3 sends is 3 chances for one to go missing.

If the renter uses a discount code, do I get less?

No, never. Not your cash and not your refund. Rider discounts come out of Roam's own fee, so your 85% at handover never moves, and your founding refund is worked out on the full list price whatever code they used.

What if a renter crashes my vehicle?

Every renter signs your rental contract before they can book. You can set a refundable cash deposit in that contract if you want one, and small scratches and repairs come out of it first. Bigger damage falls back on the terms you set. Email us and we'll help you sort it, though the agreement itself is between you and the renter.

What if the renter doesn't turn up?

Tell us from your dashboard within 48 hours of the pickup time. The dates go straight back on your calendar so you can re-let them, and what the renter paid to reserve comes to you by GCash instead of to us. We look into it before anyone's account is touched.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, from your dashboard, any time before the handover. The renter gets back everything they paid, whenever you do it, so keep it for when you genuinely have to: somebody planned a trip around your bike.

Can I still use my vehicle myself?

Of course. Block any dates you want it: family trips, fiestas, market day. It's only bookable when you say it is.

Who handles fuel and maintenance?

Renters return it with the same fuel level. Maintenance is yours, it's your vehicle. If it breaks down mid-trip through no fault of the renter, the contract they signed puts it on you to swap the bike or refund the days they lose.

Do I meet the renters?

Yes, every time. Roam never holds your keys or stands in the middle: you hand the vehicle over yourself, take the rental in cash there and then, and check it over together at return. If your contract asks for a deposit, you collect that too.

Can I delist anytime?

Anytime, instantly, from your owner dashboard. Finished bookings are honored; nothing else is owed.
